Dr. Judy Zhu gradated from the prestigious Liaoning Medical School and Liaoning Traditional Medicine School. She receiving both M.D and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine credentials. Dr. Zhu then proceeded to teach at the Liaoning Traditional Medicine School, eventually earning tenure as a professor. Concurrently with her teaching, Dr. Zhu began treating patients in Liaoning General Hospital. She practiced in Liaoning General Hospital for 15 years, eventually became Head of the Acupuncture Department. Impressing patients with her success in treating and healing many difficult diseases and pain cases, she acquired the nickname " Magic Acupuncturist." In 1995, as an exchange doctor to the United States, Dr. Zhu received her California license to practice acupuncture. She also began her won research into acupuncture body balancing techniques. Her fields of specialization include all types of pain as well as preventive care techniques. Through her extensive years of research and practice. Dr. Zhu has developed her won theory of body balancing (i.e. the balancing of yin and yang ) to maintain health.
 
Since coming to the U.S, Dr.Zhu observed that people's tendency to drink cold fluids as well as eat cold food has led to more illness of patients. The intake of too much cold fluid and food lead to a slow down in body circulation and function resulting in pain, also slow down metabolism resulting in fat.
